My Contribution To Book Club

Baked pear bowl filled with fresh granola, later garnished with whipped cream and cinnamon.

This morning, was a book club brunch tea meeting. For which I made baked pear. This is so simple. The only tough part is scooping it out to create the bowl. Then just wipe it with olive oil, sprinkle a coating of brown sugar. Bake it at 350 for half an hour. Fill with granola and add a dollop of whipped cream sprinkling a little sprinkle of cinnamon on the top. Simple as pear pie. Who needs apple? It is another kinda less than spiffy day outside. But at least it isn’t raining. The humidity drove us inside though all the same. So we set up book club in the dining space off the kitchen. It was a very lovely time. I am so glad I created this little community and I really hope over time we can turn it into a sisterhood of book lovers. I think we can. So many different kinds of people so many different opinions and perspectives…. I am really excited to see where this collective adventure can take us and what we can build together.

But you can go learn a lot more about it from the Book Club button.
