Farm violets, for Wild Violet Jelly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Some pretty goes a long way when it has been too much gray and quarantine... Yesterday, I went out in the sunshine, hung out with the dog, and collected violets to make jelly. When I finally had enough I put them in the fridge over night. Today I took this picture prepping my violets for jelly. It was such a pretty homestead moment.... One of those pretty romantic moments when you forget the misery of cleaning the chicken coop because this is why you do it. So you can have beautiful, special, sacred, nature oriented  moments like this.<\/p>\n
