Baby Chicks

These I know are not the best photos, but baby chicks move around a lot. They also are very fearful of humans till they learn not to be. So photographing them is hard. Especially when you add into the equation, that they are in a box and it is on the floor and getting down to their levcl in their box requires contortions. So I did the best I could. Add to that, the lighting in the room is not the best, and you get photos like these.

Under the heater.

When not busy cheaping and eating and drinking, they tend to busy themselves with hanging out under their heater…. Which doesn’t make it easier to photograph them either.

So young and yet so wise.

This adorable little wise ass is giving me a dirty look demanding that I take my camera and back off. But how sweet are they??? I think they are absolutely adorable. They have grown active and fluffy. These are very healthy little chicks. It is very exciting to have them with us. Eventually they will grow up and we will have to put them in the coop outside… I will miss them when they go.

I am enjoying the baby chicks.
I hope you are too,
